Webinars on issues related to children with disabilities during COVID-19 pandemic

JVS (India) is going to organize a few webinars on various issues related to children with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The webinars organized will identify the challenges and solutions/measures to address the needs of children with disabilities, their parents and caretakers and further to understand the roles of rehabilitation professionals in the context of COVID-19.

Objectives:

1.      To explore the knowledge and experience from the experts in the field of disability rehabilitation and their insights to overcome challenges faced by persons with disabilities and their families during COVID-19 pandemic.
2.      To create a platform for sharing and brainstorming the challenges, solutions, roles and responsibilities of parents and rehab professionals in handling children with disabilities.
3.      To sensitize stakeholders on the problems of children with disabilities and to create positive attitude towards them during COVID-19.

  • 67 Partner Organizations of JVS
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Parents  and care takers of children and youngsters with disabilities
  • Organizations working in disability sector
  • Other civil society organizations and private sector entities with experience in disability inclusion and insights on creative options for the economic, educational and social empowerment of persons with disabilities in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
